JAA IR and ME restricted to US registered a/c

Been away from euro flying for about 10 years.

Have a JAA CPL ATPL Teory. IR, ME and type ratings have the following limitation: "valid only on US registered aircrafts."

Anyone with experience in what type of "additional training" is required to remove the above limitations? Suggestions on where to get this done. Can any of it be done in the States where I currently reside??

Appreciate any help or suggestions on this subject...
