Swiss Aviation Training - Opinions?

Hello everybody,

I am currently considering quite a few ( hah what a lie! a TON actually ) options for achieving my license. I did a search on the topic and found three quite outdated threads with not a lot of info, so here's a 4th go.

I glide since almost three years and want to take the step further up, now that I finished school.

I wonder if there are any people around who recently (or not so recently) did the selection process (ab-initio that would be - for me at least) with SAT in Zurich?

It's one of many I am considering, but one that looks really interesting too.

Are there any materials that could help me preparing for the aptitude tests? Any current books which would be on sale somewhere that I should go through before doing the test? I have my maths ( ) and physics books out already, but apart from those?

Thanks very much, any kind of advice would be highly appreciated!
Florian

Swiss Aviation Training SAT

Hello,
I am Claudio from italy, and I am 18!!!
I also would like to join SAT when I will be 20 yold, so next month I will have the 1 class medical visit at SWISS medical centre.hope to pass it because I have -2 astigmatism in both eyes!!

At first, you should speak GERMAN very good, and English.
I contacted them and they have been very nice becase they replied to ALL my questions, giving advices and additional info.

Curently I am in touch with some students of SAT to ask them advices etc....

Cheers,
Claudio :-)
