Biggin Hill Flying Schools

Can anyone recommend a flying school at Biggin Hill or other area within easy reach of Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The school must be able to provide courses for IMC, Night and Multi as well as the PPL(A).

I've been learning at Surrey & Kent flying club, and have found them very good. It's relaxed and informal, but has a good standard of instruction. Rates arn't too bad either.

Have a think about schools at Shoreham. Not that much of a trek from Tonbridge.

Can agree with Tango Oscars comments regarding Surrey and Kent. I started learning with them recently and so far it has proved to be an enjoyable experience. There are a number of clubs/schools around the airfield so may be worth calling in on a few to see what they have to offer.

Don't forget the Alouette Flying Club at Biggin Hill. Very relaxed, friendly and long established club.
