GA 'friendly' 24hr airport in SE England?

Any ideas, most seem to be closed between +/- 2200 and 0630. Wondering if there is a 24hr option that isn't completely unaffordable (ie not LHR or LGW)?

I've researched the 'obvious' ones, but in case there's one I've missed?

Brize?

Not sure if they can accept a civilian movement overnight, though. But MOD rates not ridiculous. Worst they can say is no. Might not be SE enough for you.

Is Southend not H24?

Brize - that's an excellent OOTB answer. Will have a look.

Southend is unclear from AIP so have sent an email.

Thank you tmmorris

My reading of Southend is it's H24 (as ATS, fuel, handling, security are) but some services (briefing, met) are self-brief out of hours. (And airfield is PPR overnight.)

In the end, no rule change so not needed - but thank you for the posts.

Southend were very helpful (and with an 'acceptable' £230 out of hours fee if arriving in the middle of the night). Brize an interesting option that I now know exists.

Thanks all, Sam.

Bournemouth used to be open overnight whatever AIS says. Not sure if still is.
