Private flying/school in Mauritius

Hi, i'm off to Mauritius early Nov, thought i'd see if it's possible to get some flying in – does anyone know of a GA flying school? (my SEP ticket currently needs revalidating so would need to go up with an instructor).

Had a quick Google search, short of heli rides, professional pilot training and sky diving I can't see anything (even read a few forums saying it was banned?!).

Thanks in advance.

There must be a good deal of ultralight flying, but mostly under the radar. I have a distant memory of a boxwing called Sunny operated there by a German with very good French or was it a Frenchman with very good German.

Yep, came across that first one – might be worth a pop, had aspirations of finding a C172 operator and convincing the good lady to join us. No such luck

Long time since I was there (1978) but there was an airstrip near Grande Baie at the north end of the island where a guy operated a C172 for sightseeing.
I think there was another strip further south near the west coast too (ie well away from Plaisance Airport) but I can't find my aviation chart of the island and can't remember exactly where; I think it was operated by the same person as Grande Baie.
