Naples Air Center (NAC)
Due to the lack of current information on Naples Air Center on Pprune, I have decided that I will share my experiences there. I will be doing my PPL there in November of this year, so stay tuned and feel free to ask questions.
Up until now all I can say is that contact with the school has been very pleasant, and all my questions were answered to a very satisfactory degree. My only tip as of now concerning email contact (something that's frequently criticised here on Pprune) is that you use the "contact us" form on their website as opposed to writing directly - seems to work better.
Anyway, that's all for now. Stay tuned for updates!

That's why.
Airbusguy you've seemed to have missed this one:

Thanks for the heads-up. I did in fact see that one, but I want to bring a PPL perspective into this as well. Unless I'm much mistaken, that thread is mainly about (f)ATPL.

Two reasons:
The thread that you made reference to isn't actually about the experience the candidate had (which is what my thread will be about) and other reviews (especially older ones) have always mentioned great experiences when doing a PPL and not-so-good experiences for the CPL / ATPL.I was hoping that my report would be able to help people decide whether NAC is the right choice for their PPL needs.

........and when you do a Career Pilot Program you start with.......a PPL.
Business practices won't be any different because you do a different course.
No offense but it takes some experience in the industry to recognize what's going on.
The best scams will leave you satisfied with the feeling you've been taken care off.
Ironically.

As I said at the beginning, I opened this thread to share my experiences, and to answer questions. Not dive into a debate about the workings of a CPL.

I'll be following with interest. Having looked at doing my ppl in the UK. Staying local leads to about 9k. Going away but still in UK leads to the same with accommodation.
What is your costing breakdown and are you going for easa or faa with conversion back in uk.
