W15-W50 oil

A couple of us were talking about companies that manufacture an market the above oil in the UK. Aside from Shell there was a company about 20 years ago called Baker that also sold this grade for aviation but we all had to admit defeat as to whether Baker still exist - couldn't find them on Google search - or who else these days produces and markets it in the UK!

Any info much appreciated!

Not sure if it's produced in the UK or just imported, but as well as Aeroshell you've got Total Aero DM 15W-50 (though there seems to be far fewer stockists). I've not seen any others...

So what's wrong with Aeroshell?

Apart from cost of course! At least Aeroshell is recommended by Lycoming, and if you run on it, you can also burn UL91 (in engines approved of course).
