Red Bull Air Race - wot no Ascot 2017?

I was looking forward to another excellent Red Bull Air Race at Ascot this year but it wasn't announced with the other fixtures on 19th January.

http://www.redbullairrace.com/en_GB/tour-stops

Just 2 "Europe tbd " dates 12-13August and 2-3 September.
Ascot has a horse racing fixture 12 August but nothing listed for
2-3 September.

So an alternate UK venue or possibly none at all......?

It would be a shame as from my seat in the Ascot stand on two occasions it has been packed and a terrific event.

Anyone know any venue rumours or care to suggest some to Red Bull?

Come to Budapest!

"The exhilaration will continue on 01-02 July, as the raceplanes dart under the Chain Bridge in Budapest, Hungary, the spiritual home of the sport."

Easy access & viewing, great weather & so much more!

I'm going to check EasyJet right now.

Agreed. As Ascot proved it's airspace requirements are quite compact so that would work. Barges with pylons is a tried and tested method too.

Come on Red Bull Air Racing, reveal your plans!

Still no news!

What a shame the schedule still isn't announced.
