PPL online question bank
As the original poster is in Riga, I wonder which State he is going to sit the exams in. He mentions the CAA but is that the Latvian CAA or the UK CAA? Could all make a big difference to the study material.

PPL theory exams
Hi guys,
I have three questions about the U.K.EASA PPL Theory Exams and Flight training :
1. Is possible to book and seat for the theory exams without a school/instructor approval by only self studying?
2. Is it allowed for someone to take the flight test before his 17th birthday and apply for the issue of the licence after his birthday?
3.Any recommendation about a good school for an intense ppl training UK/Spain (duration 4-6 weeks during summer months)?

Hi everyone,
I've just read the comments and I'am wondering about that the PPL exam is not differ by countries? I mean, do the questionbanks and apps (you mentioned) comply with all countries or contain questions only for the given countries?

Hi everyone,
Thank you for all answers and options.
Besides school question bank (ATO in Lihtuania) I've been using airquiz on PC and PPL-App (recommended by friend and found on Appstore, not sure if available for Android) on my IOS.
So far I've found out that for example for navigation subject both q/b are quite useless when it comes to questions of determining position on defined radial or apprx. positions on VFR charts etc. since airquiz nav questions are based on UK VFR chart and ppl app on Sweden's... one good thing about ppl app is that for many questions there's a screenshot of that particular chart section...
For sure it is worth to invest in other q/b's than those provided by ATO because I've met some questions that were never discussed in any theory book (I'm a distance student, not that easy to ask an instructor) and that's how I've avoided surprises at CAA exams, or some questions look at one problem from absolutely different perspective and makes me think in a different way to find the same answer.
Excuse me for my English.
Fly safe!
