Brize LARS area reducing from 60nm radius to 40nm

Latest AIP amendment announces that Brize LARS service area is reducing from 60nm radius to 40nm radius from 13th October. This means a big chunk of Northamptonshire and surrounds will no longer have a LARS service.

Does anyone know why this is happening? Has there been any consultation?

Maybe because Oxford can now cover this area?
