Remembrance Sunday 8th November 2015 Duxford. Free Admission.
As usual, Imperial War Museum at Duxford will be opening its doors to the public and offering free admission and free landings on Remembrance Day 2015.
Duxford must surely be one the very special places to attend a service of remembrance - visitors will remember the atmosphere long after the day.
There will be a two-minute silence at 11.00;
the RAF cadets marching bands will start at 12.30
the Remembrance Service will be at 13.00;
there will be a poppy drop at 14.00.
In addition, children (and adults) can make their own poppies from 10.00.
Fly-in and drive-in visitors are welcome. If flying, please let us know your details by phone in advance 01223 833376 and please avoid the 2-minutes silence.
