Lapsed CAA PPL revalidation ?!

Hi all, I hold (or held) a CAA PPL achieved 1998, last PIC 2000, intermittent dual to 2012. I have emailed the Campaign Against Aviation about this, but would value feedback.... given the weakness of the Euro, can anybody recommend flight training in the Eurozone ? Was thinking of a flying-training holiday so what about the US, India, S. Africa as well...the idea is to get back in the air on a budget rather than necessarily to be able to fly solo in our lovely pricey UK; also I'm in N. Ireland which is abysmally "served" with clubs such as EGAD which wants north of £240 off me to join before I get into an a/c. 170hrs TT 40 helo, 16 aerobatics Firefly,10 tailwheel/aero Decathlon, like a mix of experience and would LOVE to do more aeros !! Thanks people !!
