Group Starting: Perth, Permit Aircraft: ~5k, ~40ph

I am aiming to start a group/share (going it alone to start with if need be) based around an affordable permit aircraft; a 2 seat Jabiru or similar.

The plan is to base the aircraft at Perth Airport with the Scottish Aero Club, located only an hour’s drive from Edinburgh. Perth has a nice big hangar as well as plenty of friendly support on site, plus three runways so you don’t have to over exercise your crosswind technique!

The share price based on 4 people will be max 5k, reducing further with a larger group.

I’m aiming at an hourly mogas rate of 40ph wet (inclusive of engine fund levy). Monthly costs are estimated at circa 65pcm (based on 4).

All bookings will be made through an on-line shared calendar and I have the website up and running.
I will have the group running early in the New Year.

Thanks for reading this far!
If this sounds like something that you'd be interested in, please get in touch (PM) for more details.

I'm nowhere near Perth, but if I were you, I'd tell people what the aeroplane type is.

Aircraft type not confirmed, this is a group to start (title), not existing.

Hence I included the suggested ball park aircraft specs, apologies if that wasn't clear originally.

Very astute ecosse, that is an option!
