Locations / Prices for PPL training in a Schweizer 300 helicopter in the UK

Hi All,

I am looking for flying schools in the UK that i can do the PPL(H) training in a Schweizer 300 helicopter.

I have found a few so far, does anybody know any that i should contact and also the hourly rates?

Thanks

I'm in Canada, and thus unable to suggest any schools in the UK, but I can say that the SW300 is a great machine for learning to fly, it's what I did my license on, and I loved it!

It seems this thread might have been moved here, which is fine, though you will probably get more reply on the Rotorheads forum, so try there, if there are too few results here.

Good luck!

Do read the FAQ on the Rotorheads forum, lots of good material.

Suggest that you post this on Rotorheads. Both private and commercial helicopter on that site.

300CBI training

Hello,
I'm wanting to purchase a 300 but I do not know anywhere or anyone who can provide training if I purchase. I am just west of Toronto and I noticed that you are in Ontario. Would know of any place or person in the area. I currently am rated on the R22 and R44 and have flow a 300 once in Quebec.

Also do you have any concerns with the 300. I have been told by Robinson owners that parts and service support may be an issue.

Regards
