IFR Current - EASA / JAA

Hi,
Do I have to be IFR current to fly IFR with an EASA / JAA License? I had my IR check 5 months ago.

Thank you.

Assuming there are no restrictions placed on you by the place/person/insruance you are renting/using the aircraft from then no.

I would suggest that if you passed your IR 5 months ago, have done now IFR flying since and now want to do it, that you make sure the weather is very benign and you get back into it slowly, or that you do a flight or two with an instructor first.
