pre jar ppl/sep microlight..5/13
I have been asked ,about the5/13 currency of of a micro light rating, on a pre jar uk ppl ,PRE 2008, micro rating ,the person wishes ,to revalidate there expired group A/SEP.
They are concerned that since the new SEP will, become 12/14,and microlight rating ,will like wise.
They intend to maintain microlight currency independently of the sep.
I explained the options of SSEA/Microlight and cross currency when using NPPL ratings. And the possibility of SEP ,SSEA , and Microlight all been signed together after 24 months .
I can personally not see why the wish to retain the 5/13 privileges,
or why if the have the required 13 month currency on microlights they can not continue with a 13 month log book signature, for this rating?

Sounds like the person has made up their mind, so why are they seeking advice?
