Passed it

Passed the GST for my PPL(A) on Friday so now only have to send logbook and paperwork off to the caa, plus the money to get my licence. Typical timing, the caa reviewed their fees on Friday. End of 1st leg was to turn in Oxford (EGTK) overhead and set heading for Shobdon. I did phone ahead to let ATC know what I intended to do, as they can be busy, and that it was my GST! Don't know if anyone from Oxford Approach will read this but thank you to the very helpful and relaxed Scottish Controller.
Rather turbulent at 2,400ft. Must try not to say ooopps everytime when aircraft bounced either up or down, especially when in the middle of a "Pass Your Message" and more especially when not talking to Brize Radar, sorry!
