From what I heard here, they were on the way to Albenga from Austria, crash site is between Piacenza and Genova VOR, village of Bobbio. Crashed and burned. One pax initially survived the impact but dies on Sunday.
Said to have been very windy and turbulent, plus some cloud but no TS at the time, yet difficult weather. Aircraft was IFR certified, so was Hans obviously.
Very sad indeed. Not a good weekend at all for GA.
