fish A surprise for the missus

I need some help.

It's my wife's birthday on the 5th Oct and I know she,d really like a flight in a Tiger Moth, or something similar, and at something like reasonable cost. I'm thinking in the order of £100 for an hour or so. I know I might be a little optimistic here, but with limited cash it's worth the asking. We live in the Derby area, and I'm quite willing to travel up to 70 to 100 miles for the day.
My email address is available above, and the wife won't read it because I haven't shown her how to switch the machine on yet.
Thanks in advance to any who respond, whether good news or bad.

TigerFly at Wycombe Air Park (on the M40 at High Wycombe) are the boys you want, without doubt!

They charge £80 from memory for a good jaunt off over Marlow - including aerobatics if the passenger is up for it!

They are a great bunch of guys - we've used them a few times now for friends birthdays and the like over the years... thoroughly recommended.

Their web-site is at: http://www.avnet.co.uk/tigerfly/

Classic Wings at Duxford also do Tiger flights. Also there is a club at Cambridge.

Not sure whether the tiger is currently cleared by the CAA for aeros

Thanks all for your help. I've looked at some options you've given me, but as I implied at the start, money was always a limiting factor.
Once I'm out of the negative pay versus travel trap, then I'll certainly reconsider your suggestions. As for this year.....Maybe a flight in a glider.

Another possibility is James Black's outfit Avia Special, based at White Waltham but operating out of various airfields during the summer inc Leicester and Sywell. Believe Tiger still OK for limited aeros if it has spin strakes fitted (the ex-military ones do, the civvies don't). Avia also do flights in Cap 10 and Zlin super-duper aerobatters, and very large and silly Antonov biplane freighter.
