LAA Rally 2010

Official info from LAA

-------------------------

Following the successful ‘dress rehearsal’ of the Sywell Revival Rally 2009, the Light Aircraft Association, in conjunction with Sywell Aerodrome, are once again partnering to deliver a major aviation Rally for September 3rd, 4th and 5th 2010.

This will be the full LAA Rally, but contained within the ‘back to basics’ ethos that worked so well for us in 2009. It’s an opportunity to witness the full range of UK home built, kit, vintage and microlight aircraft within the LAA fleet and beyond.

The LAA Sywell Rally promises to be the UK premier light aviation event for 2010. We're bringing back many of the previous activities such as trade exhibition, LAA activities showcase, Educational Trust courses, aircraft awards, aviation flea market with ‘sales and wants’ board, beer tent, awards dinner, etc. There will be ample parking and on-site camping available.

The event will be open to LAA members and public alike at very reasonable rates. We particularly welcome our fellow aviators from overseas (prize for furthest arrival).

We’re requesting aircraft to book in advance, using the slot booking system (1 landing every 30 seconds) on the Sywell website Sywell Aerodrome

More information bulletins to follow soon at www.laa.uk.com/rally

Put the dates in your diary now: 3rd to 5th September 2010.

*"sciolist"... Noun, archaic. "a person who pretends to be knowledgeable and well informed".
