Charity Flight

Does anyone know where I can find the rules regarding a PPL pilot carrying out a charity flight (in which the Private Pilot pays for the entire flight but others are able to make donations to a registered charity)?

There is a previous post from around 10 years ago, is there any up to date information out there?
