It was a Bucker Jungmann(excuse sp) based at Henstridge. No other details at this stage.

Apparently engine stopped, put out emergency call set up for field forced landing and got a wire which flipped aircraft and spoilt it all.
Very sad event - nice guy.

Saw the crash site last night,and as has been said, so unlucky with the power lines.they were ripped down completely and a new pole put in the ground.The field adjacent had only been reseeded recently so l can see why he didnt go for that.
