If you are brave you could ask Lakenheath if they would let you land
lakenheath airfield - Google Maps

They have a nice 9 hole and some good shopping facilities - if you can make it past the armed guards

Golf Clubs

Denham - Right next to one, you can hop over the fence afterparking up by the tower!!!. Plus you have at least 10 courses an a 5 miles radius including the infamous Northwood Golf club (as featured on TV) The courses of Moor Park, Uxbridge, Rickmansworth

If your talking south east, then why not nip over to L2K? Bell Dune is a couple of kilometers away and it will add a bit more to the day out! Actually there is a course next to Lydd, never played it though so cant comment on the course.

There's a couple of golf courses at Le Touqet as well, if you fancy something across the water.

Manston - North Foreland, about 10 minutes by taxi, top notch course, pre open qualifier, best avoid a windy day!

Jersey and Guernsey have excellent courses. Nothing far on either.

Alderney has a 9 hole thats more than worth while for something a little different.

Shoreham - West Hove or the Dyke, both 10 minutes by taxi.
