retraining

i am a sussex based ppl and should have done 12 hours prior to april this year to revalidate.i have not flown for around two years and now want to get my ppl back.The overall hours flown are about 300 over a 20 year span. ive booked a medical for the end of this month, subject to this being ok anyone recomend a good flying school to me?im unsure whether or not to stick to sussex or disapear off somewhere for a week.
