Leicester Air Races

Did anybody watch the air races over the weekend, the handicapping was as about as good as todays weather forecast.Air racing used to be exciting now it is just boring

Know what you mean. I was lucky enough that at the last race in Leicester, I was able to relax in Rescue 1. At least getting a good view from my vantage point. only getting 'alert' on the final lap in case the expected happened (as it has done in previous years--- C337 through a bush--- Tripacer with fuel starvation in a field a mile or so away).
But through the race I was even able to shut my eyes for a minute or 2
