It's a bit late for the OP to be worrying about an intensive course now.

I can highly recommend Derek Davidson, he has been teaching for over 40 years!
Really? Just looking at his handout (ground school prices), it says,

YOU PAY NOTHING UNTIL THE EXAMS IS PASSED.

Well lets hope his courses are better than the handouts he posts to people. The one I am looking at appears very unprofessional, even the letter is unsigned.

Thumbs up

I can recommend Derek Davidson as well. As per another poster, I was a bit concerned before I went that it may turn out to be just an exam cram, but was pleasantly suprised to find this was not the case. Clear explanations and plenty of real world examples helped the material sink in. If you're a golfer (I'm not) you may want to take your clubs, as Derek's classroom is located at a golf club just opposite Bournemouth airport and several students have relaxed this way after the day's exertions in the classroom!

Hello

Hi,

I know this has been inactive for a while now but maybe someone is still out there who can help!

I'm looking to complete my PPL ground exams fairly soon fro helicopter, i'm just wondering if anyone knows anyone out there who does intensive courses or tuition...

Thanks!
