Christmas closures

Farnborough LARS & Odiham MATZ penetration not available from 24th/2000 to 27th/0800. Odiham MAY have gliding activity; cable hazard sfc - 3000ft amsl.

Isnt Spey saying what does the no MATZ penetration bit matter since you don't need to (but are wise to ) ask for MATZ penetration. As for the wires , thats scary.

Cable hazard at Odiham is marked on 1/2 and 1/4 mil CAA charts; if you use someone elses publication (which won't necessarily be checked for accuracy as rigorously as the CAA one) it might not be; Jeppessen policy for instance is NOT to show cable hazards on their VFR/GPS charts. There's a similar hazard at Lasham too, this time 3700ft amsl!!
