IAA Medical

Im just wondering, does the CAA accept an Irish Class 2 medical from an IAA certified AME, for the PPL??

i would think so...they accept flight examiners credentials provided the FE sends a copy of his authorisation with the test results ...but you could check it with the IAA...or better still the CAA...they seem to very helpful on the phone...

Are you talking old CAA-PPL, or CAA issued JAA-PPL?

If you have a CAA issued JAA-PPL, the CAA will only accept a JAA medical for it, ie. a JAA-FCL 3 certified Class 2 Medical. For an old style CAA-PPL, I have no idea.....
