Now more and more of us have broadband, it would be great to share a few more flying vids.
[EDIT: This video is available again - thanks SteveR ]
As a starter, here's one of mine.
Observations:
- Trait #1: I know I'm a Guardian reader, but why am I always left of the centreline?
- Rolls: Look like most are nose down on the last half. Bet they wouldn't be if had an Extra.
- Trait #2: Err... 'firm' landings. :-)
Weather is a bit sh!te, but here it is...with some copyright abuse....
We were doing the spin part of a CofA aircheck. I didn't know that the engineer in the back had a video feature on his camera til he showed the result to me later, but it gives a good idea how well the chippy goes round in a spin.
Cheers to all the others who have submitted so far, all good clean fun!
Post edited over a year later (2005)....as I am still getting requests about the music, so it must have struck the right chord with pilots.
It's my favourite band, Blues Traveler and the track is "Run Around" from their album entitled Four.
You can find info and free mp3s at http://www.bluestraveler.com/mp3s.php
But Run Around is not there, so you'll have to get the album or trawl the net to find the full version. If all else fails PM me.
Cheers, FF

With eternal gratitude to the generosity of SteveR, who has agreed to host my 450MB video on his server, I have uploaded a 20 min video of a flight I made just over a year ago from Perth to Kirknewton. It has been cleverly edited by the pax (who is a PPL himself and frequent lurker on PPRuNe). There's nothing particularly remarkable about the flight, but there are some good shots from a flight from Perth to Kirknewton.
We have had some issues this morning with errors when downloading the video and playing it 'live'. The link does appear to be working if you right click and use the 'Save Target As' option.

Working on it, give me a couple of days ... although I knew in advance how much hassle trying to capture analog video would be it's still rather disappointing ... however Mrs GtW seems to be hinting about a digital video camera, which would make such things easier.
