Let's see - about a mile from home, lots of nice people (so I'm told, anyway!) and a great time to be had.

Count me in!

Yep, I'll be there for my first GatBash and probably will be bringing Ms. Rugz as well (who'll be in need of one veggie meal thing - any idea what that'll be?).

Isn't it traditional for the 'gentleman' to ask the 'lady'? Or, in this case, the chap with the big chopper to ask the bird with the elderly chipmunk?

Get in touch with me by e-mail and I will give you the details. I do prefer cheques but I do allow the odd transfer. I just like to keep down the extra work

Master Yoda

Maybe I am getting old but I have not heard the expression totty! Certainly not in connection with our gorgeous ladies. You may have to change your description before they lynch you!!

Those who have indicated they are coming have not sent cheques yet. Wann do ol IFR a favour and get the bookings going - PLEEEASE!!!

IFR,

There was a bit of a chat going on in chat last night about the possibility of doing a 'One-off Special PPRuNe Lottery Syndicate' seeing as the Bash is on a Saturday.

If you're happy for this to happen at the Bash, then me and Brockenspectre would be happy to run this.

It would be something along the lines of:

- £1 to enter (details of member taken and syndicate form signed)
- Last entries accepted at 6pm
- Money will be used to purchase same value of Lucky Dip tickets from local Lottery establishment (i.e, Tesco's I believe)
- If winnings are less than say £300 then it's donated to the PPRuNe Fund
- Winnings over say £300 will be split equally amongst the syndicate members (with of course the option to donate some or all of the individual winnings to the PPRuNe Fund)

What do you think?

Obviously, we don't want to impact on the raffle ticket sale.

ANY idea for making more money for the PPRuNe Fund is a good one! I am extremely pleased that you have considered it.

But I do have a reservations:

Assuming all attendees pay a £1 - that will be £130 - again assuming that we have the full 130. It's pretty long shot that a winning line would come out of it ................. but at 14m to 1 it has the same chances as everyone else.

I doubt that it would impact on the raffle. But clearly, I would not want to see the effect diminished by it. It is a gamble but some people will be happy to have a go.

Oh! You might have to beat 6pm. I think that is very close to terminal closure - not sure about that but it's worth checking.

Go for it. And thanks for thinking of it.

IFR
