Supported. Well done
TB .
Does the first post on this thread need to be edited accordingly for the avoidance of doubt?

Hotel suggestions?
Any idea/comments/suggestions for a hotel room for a couple of nights around the venue?
This evening I would try to convert some points of my credit card to a plane ticket to London.

Good news
SSK .
Rwy in Sight I'm sure there are plenty of rooms available in the area, especially this time of year. Look forward to seeing you.
I hope all those on the list have seen the change of venue and can still make it.

I've been mumbling about this one for a while - it's several years since I was at a PPRuNe bash (BRL may just remember the occasion).
I just had the invitation to the consecration of the new church in the old Parish, that very day, so I'll be elsewhere (in best dress uniform).
Drink a pint in my honour, if you can

After serious consideration (and keeping fingers crossed) I am happy to report:
Points from my credit card have been changed to a (round trip) ticket to London
A hotel room near the venue (I hoped) has been booked.
I hope to make it on time as I arrive at LGW at 10:15.

Uh oh, I've daftly agreed to going to a Manfreds concert at the Fairfield Halls in the evening of the 1st...
Goudie and Hobo may need ensure that a) I don’t drink too much too fast and b) I do have something to eat! After all I wouldn’t want to start snoring in time to “Pretty Flamingo” or hurl drunken abuse at an unsuspecting Mike D’Abo or Paul Jones…

Why not Treads? Excellent song to snore along to!
Not sure if Hobo and I are the right choice as your 'carers'. Who's gonna take care of us while we take care of you, hic?...

In your honour one could erect a banner over the door of the pub.

Hobo . At least we're assured of a modicum of sensibility during the proceedings...aren't we?

It's a bloody Young's, or should I say not a True Young's Wandsworth Lambs Brewery, but a shagged out Bedford type, even my Uncle who lives in Bedford would not touch Charlie Wells stuff
Rant over

They've normally got a couple of guests on Merlin, currently "Wandle" from Sambrook appears to be on; with luck if they are supporting local breweries, you might get some "Sheer Drop" from Surrey Hills, or something from the Westerham brewery!
