Thumbs up Booze... Brisbane... December

Party Time!

I'm not sure what's happening in regard to the annual BrisBash for this year, but I plan to be at the Brekky Creek pub on Saturday, 15 December, from about 16:00 hours local time. I will try to prevail upon the good nature of our friendly Mods, to get a parallel post in D+G (possibly the GA forum and qs), because we all know that most Aussies don't normally read this forum. I'm posting here for the benefit of folks from overseas who might just happen to "go tech" at BNE!

How about it, friendly Mods, can I have a parallel post in D+G please?
There's no real plan - as usual. Drink til we get hungry and attack the food at the Brekky Creek, or maybe the nearby seafood resty - if it's improved at all in recent times. Then more booze, of course. I reckon the simplest plans are always the best ones.

The good news is that there's normally no problem with accommodation at nearby motels. Some are better quality than others, some are cheaper than others. Decisions... decisions...

Editted to add a reference to the sticky thread in the D+G Forum, as follows :-

Booze, Brisbane, December... it's Brisbash time again!

Not this year, Pups. The way the work's been going, I couldn't take my hols at the usual time and there's every indication of the same thing happening next year. I'm hoping for an improvement between now and about next August and, if it happens, I'll be back in the UK then.
