Edinburgh, Christmas / New Year Bash

A few of us talked about it at the GatBash, I reckon a wee gathering in the Capital city might be in order for some time in January next year...
Any takers??
Cheers

I did originally say yes and can have the time off but have had a massive dose of reality and there isn't anyway I could realistically make a pub crawl type bash.
Here's to the next one have fun.

Never say never Flower ... plenty cabs around and we don't have to move around too much. Find somewhere good, with atmosphere and decent beer and food and plant ourselves for the night

Suggestions

Where is Ms Stockpicker with her extensive knowledge of such classy establishments in EDI?
Wonder if they'll let us into Prestonfield House Probably one time only - but it would be a good night

If we can plant ourselves for the night and it won't subsequently ruin the evening then I would love to come along.
After this last year to experience a real Hogmanay amongst friends would be fantastic

As the other resident Edinbugger on this place, I'm definitely up for a bash ... anytime after New Year, once my Christmas exams are all done! (And before the February Essays arrive!).

As for Stocky ...I'll see if I can get hold of her.

Erm, i wasn't thinking Hogmanay. No way anyone will get anywhere to stay in EDI for Hogmanay now

Just sometime after New Year, around the middle or end of January.

Cheers

Devil

Would this bash by any chance be something along the lines of BeerQuaffingAndDuckMastication?
If so, will the usual suspects, waifs, strays, reprobates and other Astel survivors be there.
If so, count me in.

PS, Worrabout Gallywag?
