I have had several requests for a Museum Bash at East Fortune so here it is:
Saturday 24th September The meeting time and point will be announced shortly. I will look into the possibility of flying in for anyone who may wish to do so.

Do you know how long the runway is at east fortune, and if it will be available to fly in to?

Depends which bit. Details of microlight strip are at http://sites.ecosse.net/graeme.ritch...txtMenu=find2.

There is also about 700 yards of useable runway on 29/11 to the east of the public road which crosses it. This is owned by a local farmer rather than the museum so PPR has to be got from him.

Unhappy

Sadly this is going to have to be postponed for a while as, due to unforseen circumstances, several people who really want to attend are unable to do so.
On a brighter note, Whirlybird has said that if anyone would care to drop in to Tatenhill instead she will be delighted to catch up with them between instructing students. I am hoping to get there sometime during that day, anyone else?
