Cheshire (Wilmslow) Bash
Following on from the Manch bash thread, we thought we'd try a location near public transport so we can have a scoop or three at a pre-christmas PPRuNe Cheshire bash.
Thursday 18th December at 8pm, the King William Pub, Manchester Road, Wilmslow. 3 minutes walk from Wilmslow railway station, 2 minutes from Bank Square bus stops.
Already we have acceptance from Mr and Mrs EGCC RNW 24 - and I'll be there
Who else????

I would but I think that is the night of our own work Christmas shindig (I could be wrong here) but I'll check that.

Have been accused of being a boring fart for the last couple of months (which I suppose is true), so promise to come along!
And if I mention maths - shoot me! (Although I can think of more fun ways of shutting me up!
)

People from Yorkshire are particularly welcome. Like the Scots, they are well known for their generosity in buying loads of rounds of drinks for everyone else
Yes of course! All are welcome. The more the merrier

Over 1000 posts and I bought this Personal Title to try and tell my mother the embarrassing news that I am a closet Jazz fan.

My diary doesn't go that far forward - you know the problem with having kids and their last minute demads - but, if I'm free I'll make it as well.

I knew it was too good to be true!!
Yes, I knew it was too good to be true.
I have just discovered that my younger daughter is singing at a school awards evening in Macc that evening.
Hopefully if it finishes at a reasonable time I will be able to get across to Wilmslow to join you.
GirlFlyday - I will definately get to meet you one day - hopefully this year!!!

Come on, Whirly. It's the ideal way to start the Chistmas celebrations. You know it makes sense

SSD,
The problem is that it isn't the start! I seem to have more or less back to back parties from this Tuesday onwards until New Year, most of them at great distance from home, with many necessitating overnight stays. I gotta stay home sometime. I gotta recover from one party before driving miles to the next. I gotta work a teeny weeny bit in between times.
So...I'll see....
