Connection AMS any advice please?

As an aside, the airlines do know what they are doing. In almost half a century of traveling, I've only missed 1 connection in Beijing after being stuck in Shanghai due fog.
Many close calls, many pretty girls waiting as I deplaned to hurry me along, the occasional car across the tarmac but they always got me on board.
Baggage most of the time too so I give airlines globally my thumbs up.

Yes, in the main I'd agree but as earlier noted, this is a new time in EU airports and the delays have been unprecedented. As one of the ones noted to have had problems in the last week AMS is not worth messing around with if you have to be somewhere urgently.

Thanks a million to everyone for your help. Made it to FRA last night on EI and I'll write to KLM as suggested.
I'll mention that they (KLM) should probably review their online booking system and the minimum connection times offered at AMS which in this instance, are incredibly short, if indeed possible to achieve.

Many thanks ExXB, that's reassuring.
