BA Executive Club log in

Anyobe else have this?-

Almost invaribly when I attemptto log in, I get an inhibit asking me to confirm that I am not a 'robot'

1) how would a robot know my membership number and password? I have heard of A.I. but this is ridiculous ; and

2) pardon my ignorance but why does it matter if a robot buys every ticket on offer at the asking price ? Is this not good business? What am I missing here?

1) people have large databases of user information such as membership numbers and passwords, no AI involved - just brute force!
2) the company have a legal duty to protect your data and the data of those who use the system

As annoying as CAPACHAs are, they are rather necessary in this day and age

I expect the system is probably not clever enough to display the checker as and when it is needed - rather just displays it each and everytime!

Wait until they design a robot that can answer ' I am not a robot'
