Could a pilot land a 777 at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Airport (PKC) if needed?
I'm just curious. Flying between the U.S. and Asia often takes me near the Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia. Wikipedia says it has Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Airport (PKC), able to handle 707's. Could a 777 be landed there in an emergency?

Yes, and not just in an emergency. Aeroflot operate a daily 777-300 service to Moscow SVO from PKC and Rossiya (well, they are part of Aeroflot too these days) use their 777-200s to Moscow VKO.

Here's the airport on what looks like a pleasant summer's day with a Transaero 777 first in line and an Aeroflot one just visible beyond it

To be fair, it's not just the runway that matters. You know, steps, other handling equipment, pavement category, RFFS category, all that stuff. But the question did seem to be about runway length alone; in a real "gotta get down NOW" emergency, of course, the runway is what counts.
