LH strike
Hi all,
a flight I had to take was cancelled because of the strike at Lufthansa.
Haven't seen but a scarce mention of it here at Pprune (if there was more, I missed it) and was curious to hear pilots' opinions.
I find it mildly amusing that pilots working for a German company are opposing changes to the retirement age when the German public opionion was pretty happy in supporting the German government in forcing those changes in countries that needed a wellfare reform, e.g. Italy and Greece...
I understand that flying is a different matter altogether, but for instance in Italy the retirement age for pilots is already set at sixty years.
Not much valuable info on the news here, OFC, so was curious about what you think of it.
Cheers
