How big is my floppy bag

Ryanair's cabin bag size is 55/40/20. I use one of those Skypak bags that disappear into one of their own pockets and slide the zip. Looks like a fat black pack of rolling baccy.

I've measured it (opened out empty) at 53/35/23. Never had trouble with any airline but not used it on Ryanair. It has never been bulging full.

Is it risky on Ryanair would you say with their reputation of treating passengers like and trying to sell their own luggage? Would they, will they.should they rely on a box gauge and not a tape measure does anyone know from experience. Thanks

Who knows, but from 2 recent flights they must be relaxing their draconian rules, as the majority of the passengers seemed to have carry-on 'bags' of various sizes and form. You should be ok
