Question The worlds most prestigious ... ?

I keep getting flyers from something called the International Airline Passengers Association (IAPA) which advertises itself as The world's most prestigious and influential travellers association.

Looks like a rip-off to me - or another ploy to sell more insurance I don't need.

Am I right? Or is there more to it than that?

They appear to have a website www.iapa.com

It doesn't seem as if you get too much that can't be got anywhere else with a little bit of effort.

IAPA membership may have certain benefits for the corporate traveller. It offers virtually no benefits whatsoever to anyone who qualifies for Travel/Airline Industry Discounts. IAPA seem to focus more on selling its members all sorts of ädditional insurance cover, which, when you read the small print, amounts to not very much!
