Zante airport

Hi all,

Just a quick query.

My girlfriend and I are thinking of going to Zante (end of May) for a weeks holiday. In the brochure it says that at a certain resort on the island, a tourist can expect lots of aircraft noise because of the close proximity to the airport.

So just how busy is it? Will we be woken up at silly o' clock or scared witless as yet another aircraft flies over the pool.

Cheers!

PS. Sorry if this query is in the wrong area.

The resort is Kalamaki and very nice it is too.
The aircraft are few and far between and i believe the airport closes at eleven or if the turtles are laying eggs on the beach.
Just dont get a delayed flight, the airport is so small it is a nightmare.
Have a nice holiday.
