Wirraway and Harvard- ANZAC Day formation

Whilst out surfing on the Sunshine Coast, the above two planes cruised past/over in formation. Looked lowish, but obviously right on 500’
Wasn’t dawn, but looked like they were headed around the Caloundra headland - potentially for a later service.
It was a beautiful sight and sound.

No. Research has confirmed it was a Caloundra based Harvard, not sure where the Wirraway is based. They were back yesterday, joined by a T28 Trojan.
Potentially putting on a display for the football crowd. Impressive smoke.

joined by a Trojan
I didn't know that there was a Caloundra-based Haevard!

The Trojan quote suggests then the Wirraway was Caboolture-based - they both belong to the same gent.

TLN - sorry, I didn't know that there was a Caloundra-based Harvard!
Mention of the T28 suggests that then the Wirraway came from Caboolture (same owner).

I went to the caloundra air museum on ANZAC day, and when I was doing some hangar stalking, I saw a hangar door open revealing a Harvard and a rather nice Orange Stearman too.
