RAAF Helicopter ops in Vietnam 1966-72

This first class presentation by former RAAF pilot (and later airline pilot) Wayne Parsons on RAAF helicopter operations 1966 to 1972 in Vietnam is a must see for all pilots both in the airline industry and general aviation. It shows pure flying skill at its best.
No GPS or glass cockpits in those days. Just map reading and raw courage.
Both presentations go for approximately 40 minutes each and I guarantee viewers will not want to leave their screen until each presentation is concluded.

Thankyou Mr C,

For those in, near, or visiting Perth (Jandakot), the Old Fliers Group (OFG)
meets on the last Friday of each month, except for December, 'upstairs' in the lounge of The Royal Aero Club of WA, at the end of Eagle Ave, YPJT.

Next meeting is Friday 28th July, 12 noon.

Parking is free in the RACWA carpark.

The meetings usually commence at around 12 noon when members and visitors can have a drink, order lunch, have a chat, meet past acquaintances, renew old friendships....did I mention, drinks are available...?

At about 12 noon or so, the meeting is declared 'open', and after an intro or two, a couple of presentations will be given.
The topics are all usually aviation related, and are very interesting - thanks to the coordinators who organise such matters.

oldfliersgroup.org.au/

Will get you the site. Be sure to scroll thru to other presentations. They are all 'good stuff'.

And....'Hats Off' and a BIG THANKYOU to Capt. Parsons......and Colleagues......

Cheers
