Struggling to imagine how one can have an emergency in a Duchess.
Does it have enough power on either side to have a Vmca at all?

There is no "Emergency" section in the POH, Chapter 3 is tabbed as "Disappointment Procedures".

If it was a "trainee" pilot, with the "instructor" on the ground talking him down, how come there were 3 POB?

Third Duchess in a few weeks to have gear problems. A B76 had a gear up after no extension in Hobart a few days back then there were two in Qld.

Frisbee you should know that the media will never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Probably the Greenies are mounting a court case re the spray of fuel that the media told them was being sprayed around Brisbane. We can but wish.
