Location and PIC Pathway Dilemma

I've been getting conflicting info from various sources so I thought I'd post in here and hopefully get some guidance.

Firstly excuse any ignorance. Secondly I love flying and all I want to do is fly big heavy jets; whether that's in the form of Cargo or passenger jets I'm flexible. I'm currently completing my CPL in Sydney (self funded and yes I'm a Gen Y), I have Australian and UK passports and would be open to working in either UK, North America or UK/Europe. I would even be Kobe to moving myself to Asia due to the lack of opportunity and incentives in Australia in terms of a cadetships.

...am I better off:

a) continuing to build my hrs here in Aus, complete CPL then start applying
b) apply now for positions
c) proactively contact airlines about future hiring periods
d) relocate overseas to where there's alleged 'pilot shortgages' to up hrs

Any thoughts would be appreciated
