I think it is worth mentioning that there is no 'Approval' required. If your ops manual is compliant with CAO 82 and the CAAP you have nothing to worry about.

AKAIK, EFB accreditation also takes iPad mount options into account - Apple publish temp limitations very openly. You need to be able to keep the unit out of direct heating the best you can in order to keep it reliable.
