Good News for Operators of GAMIjector equipped aircraft

This has proven to be a an interesting topic over the years……my POH stays/CASA FOI says…blah blah blah………

Now there is an FAA approved flight manual supplement for all aircraft fitted with GAMI's.

http://www.gami.com/gamijectors/afms...20rev%20ir.pdf

Download and insert! This should solve a few dust ups with the commercial operators

Be careful. This only works for airplanes in the Northern hemisphere.

GAMIjectors will cause engine failure in the Southern hemisphere.

The laws of physics are different between hemispheres.

So,

I've followed this issue with interest for quite some time now as it might just save my life one day!!!

it would appear to me that (if I've read this correctly) this is a good thing.

Now I haven't done the course as life for me these days has more of a turbine interest however it appears to me that perhaps those Advanced Flight Seminar (APS) subjects that have been topic of other threads might have been (effectively) approved by the FAA because as I understand what those subjects are about , isn't this where the data subject of this AFMS has come from?

I know a few people who've done this APS course and from discussion with one in person in particular it looks to me like this AFMS has it's grounding based on alot of data from somewhere and from what I've read that can only be one place....Mind you, I could be wrong....

Where's yr right?

In all seriousness, this would solve some problems for people who want to comply with AFMs. I remember asking whether AFM supplements were available for this kit on here a while back, only to be fed some smart ass answers by a few of the LOP zealots (not you jabawocky, I've appreciated your posts). Actually kind of turned me off the course advertised on here.

So true. Casa says so!

I will have to ask GAMI to write an amendment for upside down operation.
