License Conversion from CAA to CASA

Hi, can anyone give me some useful info about converting my SACAA ME/IR CPL into a CASA one?

Im a jump pilot and was also wondering if I could fly here in Australia with my current south african licence or should I definitely go through the conversion?

Thanks!
