Wings over Illawarra

Held on the 4/5/2014 at Wollongong airport. I have missed out on this event due to my ignorance or perhaps lack of publicity, you be the judge.
Anyways, has anyone attended this show and has some feedback maybe some photos because the weather was almost perfect and must have been a great day.

Unfortunately there was a 30kt xwind gusting all day. Much of the flying program had to be cancelled.
Highlights were a decathlon ground looping until it was dizzy and having to be pulled away by hand, and the Connie being tugged onto runway 08/26 only to break through the Tarmac and become stuck for the duration.
Pity, the talent booked for the day was sure to be spectacular, with some awesome aerobatic displays scheduled. Hopefully the next one works out better, but they do say, frequently, that's aviation!
Edit: if you call that perfect weather you're a braver man than I am.

It was perfect weather if you could see no trees and were out of the wind

I have some shots up on the photos thread.

WOI

It was a real shame. That wind was quite strong. The family were looking forward to the aerial displays. I still enjoyed it but felt a little sorry for the organisers though.
